ICT that moves with the rush

Shops, hospitality, events and leisure businesses work in peaks: the weekend, the season, the day ticket sales open. We make sure communication, tills, Wi-Fi and accounts scale up, and back down again afterwards.

What the rules require

What the rules require when you work with customer data, payments and temporary teams.

AVG · 72 uur

You report a data breach yourself

Even if the breach is at a supplier, such as a ticketing or booking platform, you're responsible for reporting it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

PCI DSS · betalingen

Keep tills and card terminals separate

Payment providers require card payments to meet the PCI DSS standard. A separate network for tills and card terminals, apart from guests and office, is the foundation.

Goede praktijk

Temporary access, truly temporary

Personal accounts with two-factor authentication, and a fixed procedure to revoke access after the season.

Throughout the year

In retail and hospitality, the peaks are around summer and the December holidays. Events and festivals mainly run from spring to the end of summer.

Questions from practice

What organisations in this sector ask us most often.

Can we scale up telephony temporarily when it's busy?

+

Yes. With queues, callback requests and AI customer contact, you handle a peak without extra people on the phone.

Do we have to report a breach at a ticketing or booking platform ourselves?

+

Yes. As the controller, you report a data breach to the Dutch Data Protection Authority within 72 hours, even if it originated at a supplier.

How do we arrange accounts for seasonal staff?

+

With personal accounts and two-factor authentication, which we revoke straight after the season. That way you don't keep paying for licences nobody uses anymore.

Can the public and the tills share the same Wi-Fi?

+

Preferably not. We set up separate networks, so guests can never reach your till or office systems.

Next season without surprises?

Tell us how you work, where it gets busy and what went wrong last year. We look at the office, branches and locations, and tell you honestly what's needed.
